It isn't reasonable to assume one could because there'e too much.
When Constant Non News first came out and was a novelty, I mean, 24 hours every day of NEWS!!!...
...even then it was the same 15-30 minute cycle repeated over and over.
They'd pepper ads in the mix that changed more often than the news stories.
